Transportation
Driving is a very good means of transportation in Surrey. Parking is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Surrey is not very accessible. Nevertheless, there are many rapid transit stations on the Expo Skytrain. Residents have access to over 50 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. Commuting by bicycle is occasionally difficult in Surrey because there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not especially comprehensive. There are also relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this city, although running common errands is easy.
Services
A fraction of home buyers in this city may have the option to purchase groceries by walking in one of over 150 stores, while others will have to use another means of transportation. Residents are served by over 900 restaurants and cafes as well. Concerning education, it is a rather short walk to get to primary schools and daycares from any location in Surrey. On the other hand, parents and their children may consider it difficult to access high schools as a pedestrian.
