Transportation
This neighbourhood presents house buyers with the choice between several methods of transportation. The reasonably good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. In particular, commuters can depend on the Agincourt Station with access to the Stouffville Line. There are around 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. It is also convenient for pedestrians to move around in Agincourt; most daily needs are easy to carry out by walking, and there are also a good number of businesses close by. The bicycle is a sometimes poor mode of transportation in Agincourt since riding is rendered strenuous by the often steep terrain, and there are a limited number of bike lanes.
Services
In Agincourt, parents and their children will usually be able to get to schools and daycares on foot. As far as eating is concerned, it is convenient to reach both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from most homes for sale in this part of Toronto. In addition, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also a rather short walk to a good choice of clothing stores.
Character
The character of Agincourt is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. The greenery in this part of Toronto is quite prominent as the majority of streets have good tree coverage. It is very easy to reach public green spaces in the neighbourhood, since there are approximately 40 of them nearby for residents to enjoy and most houses for sale have a park very close by. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are generally quite peaceful - however noise can be problematic close to one of the railway lines or Highway 401.
