My volunteer work has been focused on children, the elderly, the poor, cultural groups and those with special needs. I received the United Way Community Builder of the Year Award for work with various charities including Success by Six. Volunteered with The Food Bank for over 10 years; received the Glass Apple Award for my contributions. Volunteered with The Canadian Hearing Society for over 8 years; received the Volunteer of the Year Award. Long serving active member of the Irish Society of the National Capital Region. Board Director and Chairman of the Lottery for St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa, a charitable, not-for-profit long term care facility for the elderly for 15 years. I will continue to donate a portion of my sales to each of the above charities. I also look forward to learning about, and donating to, the charities of choice that my clients recommend.
