They say that if you love your job enough, you will never work another day in your life. This saying rings very true for me and my career as a REALTOR®. I was born and raised in Ottawa and have lived all of my life in the Greater Ottawa area. I grew up in centretown with my parents and moved to Kanata in 1994. In 1998 I bought my first home in Barrhaven and have resided here ever since. I am the father of two beautiful children, Daphne and Tyler and a step father to Matthew and Taylor. I’m a loving husband to my wife Ann who is also a REALTOR®. I chose Barrhaven as a place to raise my family, and as a result, the community is very important to me. Whenever possible, I get involved in local events, such as festivals put on by the Southpointe Community Association, Adrienne Clarkson Elementary School, Farley Mowat’s Mayfair annual event as the MC. I also sponsor many amateur sporting teams such as Nepean Minor Hockey Association, Nepean Girls Hockey Association and the Titans water polo program. I am a huge supporter of the Ottawa Children’s Gala and recently the main title sponsor for the Boston Pizza Golf tournament. At our Annual Client Appreciation Event we collect non-perishable food items for the Barrhaven Food Cupboard to help support families in our community. Licensed as a REALTOR® in 1999, I spent the first 10 years of my career with one of the top Real Estate Brokerages in Ottawa. With this office I was the #1 Sales Representative/Broker for the last 5 years and received their top honor in sales for 4 out of 5 years (2005-2009). These results speak for themselves. In March 2010, I opened my own Real Estate Brokerage, and after 3 ½ successful years we merged our operations with Ottawa’s #1 Brokerage Royal LePage Team Realty in December 2013 to better serve my clients with increased visibility and resources.
