John definetly has his roots in Georgina. He is a 4TH generation resident. Having graduated from both Jersey Public School and Sutton District Hifh School. John has always had a passion for sports and to that end played minor hockey, football and baseball in the area. The highlights being a Provincial Championship in Bantam hockey and becoming the Captain of the South Shore Rangers Junior C Hockey Club. John has never wanted to live anywhere else other than Georgina. He knows the History of the area and has been a part of the growth from a small Tourist Town to the large Community it is today. He also enjoys the outdoors and the lake both summer and winter. His other interests include curling, hunting, fishing, cooking, Nascar Racing, travel, cars, trucks and his Harley. John credits Bruce Lockie with introducing him to the business of Real Estate. Bruce a long time family friend had his own Real Estate Company and recruted John to try his hand at Real Estate. To that end in 1976 at age 22, John went to night school to obtain his Licence. Graduating in 1977 John soon found he enjoyed the buisness of Real Estate. After all it is a people business and the one thing John enjoys most of all is meeting and helping new and exciting people.
