Expérience professionnelle

A passion for helping people, a love of Golden Retrievers, and an appreciation of fine wines, meet Royal LePage Parksville-Qualicum's #1 Top Selling Agent, Susan Forrest. Her passion for helping people and extraordinary marketing skills are a good part of the reason for her success in Real Estate sales. She loves what she does and is very dedicated. She's also a strong supporter of local community charities and events, and enjoys hosting friends and family when they visit from Europe. "My days living on Vancouver Island started back in 1975, when I was a young teenager. My family moved from the big city of Vancouver to the streets of Errington where there was a General Store and a single gas pump at that time...what a culture shock! For us kids, the farthest we could travel was as far as we could pedal our bicycles. In the summertime, we often went to Englishman River Falls and other spots that soon became favorites in our explorations." After graduating from Parksville's Ballenas Secondary School, Susan studied Hotel Restaurant Management at Nanaimo's Malaspina University College and worked in the hospitality industry for 22 years, learning the importance of exceptional customer service and strong management as the key elements in building a successful business. From there, it seemed like a natural progression to study real estate sales when the opportunity arose. "It made sense to work with and negotiate on behalf of people in navigating the vitally important process of selling or buying their homes. Furthermore, to do this in an area that I know well and love...PERFECT!" In her first years of Real Estate (2001-2003), Susan achieved President's Gold Status representing the top 10% in sales for Royal LePage Canada. The next years 2004-2009 saw Susan earn Directors Platinum and Diamond Awards each year representing the top 5% and then the top 3% in sales. Since 2010, she has been awarded membership in Royal LePage's elite National Chairman's Club. This Club is for the top 1% of Royal LePage agents across Canada. On Vancouver Island she has been the # 1 top producing agent regularly since 2013, and out of 18,000 Royal LePage Agents across Canada, Susan has been in the top 50 agents since 2014. She was honored to receive BC's A.E. LePage Realtor of the Year Award for 2017, representing the best of the best at Royal LePage for sales, leadership and community involvement! And in 2019 was nominated for and won the Vancouver Island Real Estate Boards "Realtor Care Award". In 2020, Susan and her team ranked #1 in the Oceanside Real Estate Market. "My goal has always been, through patience, understanding and hard work, to build long term relationships with clients. I want people to know that I am honest, dedicated and trustworthy, and I will always put their best interests first."
