On the other hand, the public transit service in La Prairie is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are approximately 10 bus lines, and most houses are near a bus stop. It is difficult for people walking to navigate this part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area because very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.

Services

Some, but not all, property owners in this part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area will reside within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. A small variety of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. Concerning education, parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their home is located in La Prairie, daycares are nearby. On the other hand, primary schools and high schools are not very abundant in La Prairie, and accordingly not always within walking distance.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a calm environment will enjoy La Prairie.
