Cars are a very good transportation option in Patterson. It is convenient to come across a place to park. However, getting around by public transit is challenging in this part of Vaughan. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Biking is at times difficult in Patterson because there is a considerable amount of elevation changes. Thankfully, this area features a fairly good bicycling infrastructure. Travelling by foot is also not very common in this part of the city, even though many daily needs are convenient to carry out without the use of a car.
