Driving is a great transportation option in this part of the city. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. However, the public transit system in South Plains is not very accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines. Despite the fact that certain enjoyable areas for bicycling exist, this part of Kitchener is not very bicycling-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the topography is not particularly flat. It is also very difficult for people travelling on foot to navigate South Plains as carrying out daily needs is very inconvenient by walking.
