On the other hand, residents using public transit may have few choices in Lower Doon by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. It is easy to travel by bicycle in this area as there are a good number of bike lanes. Lower Doon is not very suitable for walking as running daily errands is challenging on foot.

Shopping for one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in Lower Doon. There are a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. In terms of education, both primary and secondary schools are convenient to get to on foot from most homes for sale in Lower Doon. This area is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case near Highway 401.
