A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking as most daily needs are difficult to meet on foot. It is also difficult to move around by bike in Duff's Corner because the cycling network is not very well-developed, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of slopes.

This neighbourhood does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, families may consider it challenging to access daycares on foot.
