Carluke is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. This part of Hamilton is not very appropriate for cycling because the topography is not particularly flat, and there are very few bike lanes. Travelling on foot is also not very feasible for property owners in this neighbourhood since many daily needs are very challenging to carry out without the use of a vehicle.
Services
Primary schools may necessitate a very long walk to get to, and there are no high schools in Carluke. Likewise, it can be very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, in all cases, a car is needed to do groceries.
Character
Most areas in Carluke are reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near the airport (YHM). Public green spaces are spread out sporadically, which makes them very hard to get to. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to discover.
