Cars are a great transportation option in Whitby Estates. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and the majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. It is very difficult to move around by bike in this area because there is a considerable amount of hills, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Whitby Estates is also not very well-suited for walking as very few common errands can be run on foot.

Whitby Estates does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, families may find it very difficult to get to daycares on foot. Concerning eating, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in Whitby Estates to buy their groceries by walking.
Character
Whitby Estates is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. Parks are especially well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes it easy to get to them. This part of the municipality is very quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
