Transportation
Chelsea Park is very car friendly. Many houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is very convenient to access a place to park. In contrast, the public transit system in Chelsea Park is quite poor. This neighbourhood is not very suitable for those who travel by foot because meeting day-to-day needs is challenging by walking. It is also very hard to travel by bicycle in Chelsea Park since there are quite a few elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes.
Services
It is a reasonably short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from any location in this area. Chelsea Park is served by highly ranked primary and secondary schools, such as Collingwood School. However, there are only a very small number of daycares and therefore they can be a very long walk away. In terms of eating, home buyers in Chelsea Park almost always have to use a vehicle to buy groceries.
Character
Chelsea Park is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to discover and they are especially well-situated, which makes it easy to get to them. The noise levels in this neighbourhood are also quite low, as the streets are generally reasonably calm - although that is not the case near Trans-Canada Highway.
