Professional Experience
Born and raised in Peterborough, I attended both elementary and secondary school here. I went on to graduate from the Real Property Administration Program at Seneca College in Toronto, learning all aspects of the Real Estate Industry. Upon graduating with honours, I began an 11 year career with one of the country's largest Life Insurance Companies in its Commercial Mortgage Division. Throughout this time I was involved in hundreds of millions of dollars in Commercial Mortgage placement across Canada with some of Canada's largest developers. In 1998 I joined my father in the real estate business in my hometown of Peterborough. In 2013 I was fortunate to be awarded a Royal LePage Brokerage. In January 2023 I merged my Brokerage with Royal LePage ProAlliance we handle Peterborough & the Kawarthas, in all areas of real estate. I am also a Royal LePage Commercial Broker. I am a Past President of the Peterborough Real Estate Board. My daughter Laura Barrick is a licensed Realtor and we now work closely together to focus on our Client's Real Estate experience.
