Do you know what I love most about real estate? It’s completely unique! No two transactions are the same, each client has their own likes and dislikes, and there’s always something about a specific home that stands out from the rest. Because of this, I feel it’s important to have character traits that will ensure your experience is as stress-free as possible. Not only is it important for me to be knowledgable, adaptive, and to be a strong negotiator, but most of all, I feel it’s absolutely necessary to be trustworthy and to have credibility. Growing up in Ottawa has allowed me to be part of many different communities and to understand what that means to each individual. Travelling, working and living abroad has sharpened my ability to adapt and to learn that everybody has a story and that sometimes, you just have to stop and listen. Working in the finance industry for over seven years has taught me to be a sharp negotiator, to produce results, and overall, to be a true professional. In other words, to be credible. And finally, working as an assistant at Royal Lepage prior to getting my real estate license has allowed me to go ‘behind the scenes’ and to understand the complexities of this incredible profession.
