Professional Experience
With both of my parents having enjoyed long and successful real estate careers, you might say real estate has always been in my genes. I entered real estate in 2007 following a gratifying 7 years in the field of autism, the birth of my second child, and the purchase of my third home. I’d realized from discussions around the dinner table as I was growing up, that the work was always interesting, fast paced and challenging, and the hours could be chaotic, but what I hadn’t appreciated until I came to work at Royal LePage was how much fun it could be. We have the good fortune in our office to work with a terrific group of knowledgeable colleagues, always eager to share their opinions, thoughts and experience, who work hard but enjoy a delightful camaraderie and respect for one another. Right from the starting gates, I knew I’d found my niche. Initially working together with my mother, then as she approached retirement, gradually taking over the “team leader” role, I now take immense personal satisfaction in working with loyal third generation clients. While the work is exhausting and exhilarating, my days are most frequently filled with the satisfaction of a job well done when seeing the smiles of my happy clients. I’ve been humbled to earn the trust of my clients, the respect of my peers, and the recognition of my achievements through awards bestowed upon me from the industry. What others say about us speaks volumes louder than what we say about ourselves. I’m continually honoured by referrals from past and current clients, so many of whom I consider my valued friends. The trust you place in me, your faith in my abilities and your satisfaction with the work I’ve done on your behalf means the world to me. Real estate is an ever-changing industry and during my career I’ve watched how technology has changed the face of the way business is conducted. But in many ways, it has remained the same. It’s personal … buying or selling a home is an emotional undertaking. As realtors, we witness the cycle of life … first home, newly married, new baby, growing family, retiring, downsizing, moving to a condo and occasionally making the decision to go into assisted living. I pride myself on my approach to business; I understand and appreciate that you are entrusting me with assisting you in the purchase and/or sale of your most valuable asset, and I take that responsibility seriously.
