What Dave O’Byrne finds most satisfying is seeing his clients truly happy with what they buy or sell. To do that, he asks a lot of questions and he listens—an approach that has served him well throughout his 17+ years as an award-winning Victoria Realtor. Dave recognizes and values the trust his clients place in him and so, through hard work, effective communication and follow through, he strives to exceed expectations, whether helping a first-time buyer or listing a multi-million dollar property. Originally from Saskatchewan, Victoria has been Dave’s home for more than 40 years. He loves this city and takes pride in giving back to his community. He chaired the University of Victoria Golf Charity Classic for three years and served on the board of the following: Canadian Museum of Flight, Victoria Racquet Club Hockey Association and the Royal LePage Women's Shelter Fund. Before turning to real estate, Dave started and ran a successful food distribution company, which instilled in him a commitment to customer service, attention to detail and an expertise in negotiating—skills he puts to good use today. His pride and joy is his family: his daughter, Krystal and his son, Ryan and their families. To keep active, Dave enjoys hiking, walking, cycling and swimming. He also enjoys reading, traveling and has a quirky interest in airplanes and boats.
