Professional Experience
Mike first started his career in real estate in the mid 1980’s as a residential agent with immediate success mainly due to the recognition that all clients deserve the respect and service that he was happy to give them. Following many years in a development company firstly as a sales manager and then operations and project manager, Mike then gained vast business experience with various successful business ventures, but always kept a keen eye on real estate. The temptation was too much to resist finally, and Mike came back into commercial real estate in 2015 with a large US based brokerage with a focus on multifamily in the Province of British Columbia. Following four very successful years, Mike then transferred to a small boutique brokerage and expanded his experience into many other asset classes. The opportunity to operate Phoenix Commercial Realty as a franchise of Royal LePage Commercial came about in early 2024 with a distinct focus on training and mentoring new and experienced agents to guide them towards success by way of service to our clients. Outside the work environment, Mike is widely known in BC, AB and WA as an experienced announcer for roller derby and is very happy to chat derby related issues at anytime!
