This part of the city is very car friendly. It is very easy to access a place to park, and the majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. West Highlands is not especially well-suited for walking as few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

Finally, getting to public green spaces, including Highlands Park, is very easy from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to relax in.
