Cars are a great medium of transportation in Vanier. It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from anywhere in Vanier, and it is very easy to park. However, the public transit network in this area is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties.

It is a rather short walk to access daycares and primary schools from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Vanier. With regards to food, it is very easy to access the closest grocery store by walking in Vanier.
